H. Michael Hindman Architects was founded in 1991, but our experience goes much deeper. Since Michael Hindman first began practicing in 1976, there are few project types that he and his seasoned staff have not successfully completed. Best known for extensive retail projects, HMHA has designed schools, churches, office buildings, government facilities, industrial buildings, residences, recreational facilities, and mixed-use developments. With each new project, we draw upon our experiences. However, we also try and approach each project with fresh ideas and due respect for the circumstances and for the site unique to that project. The result is that each project can be fresh and new to us, exciting to start and exciting to see to fruition. After over 40 years, we are enjoying the practice of architecture now as much as any time in the past.
We promote our profession, addressing each project with creativity and enthusiasm. We seek to find enjoyment and fulfillment in all we do, but especially strive to serve our clients, employees, community, industry, and the environment in meaningful and lasting ways.
